FP Oscar Giveaway Contest!

This Sunday, the 83rd Annual Academy Awards take place in Los Angeles.  Here at FP, film expert Franklin Laviola is currently in the midst of a two-part column detailing his Oscar selections.  But just because Mr. Laviola knows more about movies than all of us combined doesn’t mean we can’t have opinions as well.

We want to hear your opinions.  So, we’re holding the First Annual FP Oscar Giveaway contest.  The winner will receive a copy of the deluxe edition of Radiohead’s new record The King of Limbs, featuring:

• Two clear 10″ vinyl records in a purpose-built record sleeve.
• A compact disc.
• Many large sheets of artwork, 625 tiny pieces of artwork and a full-colour piece of oxo-degradeable plastic to hold it all together.
• Digital download that is compatible with all good digital media players.

Prizes will be awarded to second and third place finishers as well.  All you have to do to enter is:

1) Follow Frontier Psychiatrist on Facebook or Twitter (if you haven’t already)

2) Email your winners for Best Picture, Director, Actor, Actress, Supporting Actor, Supporting Actress, Foreign Film, Animated Film, Live Action Short and Animated Short to frontpsych@gmail.com.  (Don’t worry, no one has seen the entries from those last categories…they’re tie-breakers).  If you haven’t memorized the nominees, no problem: just read today’s and tomorrow’s Oscar prediction columns.  Send us your picks by 3 PM EST (12 PM PST) on Sunday, 2/27.  (Note: ties will be decided by random draw).

The first place winner will win the aforementioned King of Limbs set, with second-place winning a trip for two to the movie of their choice (via Fandango gift card) and third-place winning a sizzling-hot FP t-shirt (white, grey, navy, or black…winner’s choice).
